Clicking on album cover/artwork doesn't switch to currently playing song

EDIT: This seems to have been fixed (at least it works for me now) as of version 1.1.58.820.g2ae50076-a

Has anyone worked out how to get to the current song playing in a playlist again in the new desktop update? You used to be able to click on the album art and jump to the current song playing in that playlist, but clicking the album art doesn't do anything anymore. I looked through the keyboard shortcuts using Ctrl+? but only saw an option to jump to current playing playlist, not the song as well. Any help would be appreciated, or at least confirmation from others that this option seems to have been removed.

It will rather annoying if that's been removed entirely, as it was said in the update that they improved and added more navigation to the desktop app...? Thanks!

When is this going to get fixed? It's been happening for years now. I am sick of Spotify bugs that NEVER GET FIXED, meanwhile they release new versions several times a week and all they do is move UI elements around and redesign how things look. I have founds posts of this exact issue dating back to April 2018. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE.

Hi @Madferret , this problem is largely fixed in the refreshed UI, but there is still one particular (non trivial) case where it still doesn't work. See my comment of ‎2021-05-19.

More that a month ago I sent a private message to user Novy (the one that marked this thread as "fixed"), but I have not seen any reaction to that.
