Collaborative playlist links not working

We've received some reports from users who have issues joining and inviting other users to collaborative playlists.

My Issue:

For some reason I can’t collaborate with my friend on my playlist. I send the invite and they still can’t add songs to the playlist. It only shows up in their library . Is this a glitch? Playlist has been turn from public to private and back to see if it would allow my friend to add. It does not. App has been updated. Still does not allow to add to playlist.

Having this issue for a couple of weeks. 

Honestly if it's not fixed soon I will just cancel my family plan and make the switch to apple music.

I’m also trying to make a collaborative playlist with my friends and it is not working. We have a bachelorette coming up and we are very disappointed that we aren’t able to make collaborative playlist to have a variety of different music.
