As stated when choosing to play on another device (i.e.. Yamaha Amp) crossfade doesn't work. Set it to Listen on this device (i.e..Phone,tablet) it works fine.

Please Spotify can you sort the cross fade to work on all devices. It doesn't come across well when you've set up a party dance list powered through a Denon amp and massive speakers and have everyone wait patiently for each song to kick in. It doesn't make sense?
I think crossfade is a very important feature ! i'm also very anoyed by this issue
I am currently a family premium member and really enjoy the crossfade option, however I am at a loss to understand why the crossfade function doesn't work when I am playing Spotify through my Sonos speakers or any other device apart from my iphone or macbook I do this obviously a better quality sound, please explain why this doesn't work
This needs to be fixed ASAP... why the **bleep** cant u adjust playback when using airplay.,..,..,.?!
So gutted this doesn't work. I got Spotify premium for my birthday party coming up because I knew it had this feature so thought it would be perfect. Such a shame because now I might look elsewhere and cancel my subscription before then.
most wifi speaker (sono... etc) can also be connected via Airplay, where crossfade is supported.
