Daily Drive using wrong city

I am using Spotify Premium on iOS and have set my concert location to Minneapolis, however, in the daily drive playlist all of the content that shows up is for Chicago. How can I get this fixed?

note; the concert location of Minneapolis has been set for over a few months.

Hey folks,

Thank you for reporting this issue to us.

We just wanted to let you know that the right folks are looking into this.

We're not able to provide an exact timeline for a fix, but we'd recommend always keeping your Spotify app up to date to ensure you're on the latest version.

Thanks again!

Any updates? My Daily Drive playlist switched to Chicago this week. I live in mid-Missouri. I loved using Daily Drive just to easily listen to NPR News Now, so this playlist is now useless.

Hi -

I'm still having this issue, living in LA and getting Chicago news and different podcasts.

Would love to have my NPR and The Daily back.

Thanks,

Verity

Same issue!  Moved to CA 3 years ago from Philly.  Just switched to an iPhone from Pixel 2 a month ago.  Now on daily drive playlist Spotify thinks I'm in Philadelphia...

Mine also shows Chicago but I am in San Francisco

Anyone else notice that it's back to normal? I no longer have located news, but general NPR podcast, and everything else I actually like.

For me, it's fixed. Is it fixed for anyone else?

Yes! It has been working correctly for the past couple of weeks here as well. I have NPR, Snacks, and the preferred programs that I enjoy!

I hope this is the result of Spotify correcting something versus some random occurrence.
If it was fixed, THANK YOU!!

I checked last week and still had Chicago news, but all is good today! I
hope it stays that way!

Yes, this seems fixed to me now - no more random "Bay Area news" introductions in Seattle. 🙂

Yes, finally fixed for me!
