My Question or Issue

I have seen topics opened about this issue, but i haven't seen a proper solution to it. It looks like Spotify doesn't seem to care about it either. The problem is simple; you open the app, you see that your most listened Daily Mixes are on shuffle for no reason. I tried deleting the app completely, I tried logging off and on, I tried opening and closing the app repeatedly, it doesn't work. It gets worse after some time too, more of your Daily Mixes becomes shuffled and you can't do anything about it. And this is not the first time I'm experiencing this issue either, 2 weeks ago I had the same problem, it got fixed by itself, and now it came back. So please, fix this issue.

 The summer rewind playlist broke and it was non shuffle and infinite skips but now it acts like a normal playlist not infinite skips and shuffle but it still plays in non shuffle order... so how do i fix it back to the way it was or im changing to a 1 star review if its meant to be like that, because summer isnt evem over.

Update: Nothing changed. There are 3/6 Daily Mixes shuffled and not on demand as it should be.

Thanks for reaching out to us about this, and apologies for the delay! We'll be happy to help out.

 

Would you first mind performing a clean reinstall by following the steps outlined here? This can solve many common problems that our users experience.

 

If that doesn't work, could you try logging into your account on another mobile device and seeing if your Daily Mixes appear as normal (i.e. on demand)?

 

Also make sure to let us know which Spotify version your Android phone is rocking in your reply.

Yeah, I am currently experiencing the same problem, I even uninstalled the app and everything, it just isn't working.

Would you mind sending us a screenshot showing the missing Daily Mixes?

I've been told to head to this thread in order to troubleshoot this issue since its the same as mine. 

 

I have the latest version published in the Google Store and the issue persist.

 It got slightly better when it connected to the spotify on my laptop, but the problem came back again.

We really appreciate all your reports regarding seeing playlists on Free that should be on demand showing as Shuffle only. We've passed this on to our tech folks and they'll be looking into it.

 

If this issue occurs to you, make sure to add your +VOTE to stay updated.

 

If you haven't already, we'd also recommend trying the following:

  • Logging out and back in your account
  • A quick reinstall of the app on your device
  • Make sure your device is up to speed with the latest firmware updates

If none of these do the trick, please let us know the following:

  • Your current Spotify version
  • Your device and its OS version
  • Does this occur when logging to your account from a different device?
  • Any screenshots would be also helpful. Just make sure that no sensitive/private info is displayed.

There's currently a newer version of the Spotify available. Just to confirm, could you give it a try updating the app to the latest update?
