Daily mix disappeared after Premium upgrade

My Question or Issue

I signed up to Spotify as a free user at first and after choosing my preferred artists I got Daily Mixes appearing on my home screen. After few listens I upgraded to Premium and after upgrade the Daily Mixes suddenly disappeared. This happened from February 27 and still now I have not seen the Daily Mix feature. 

 

The issue is occurring on all devices and platforms along with my Android phone, like my Windows 10 Spotify desktop app, and the Spotify Web Player. 

 

I have come to like Spotify for it's awesome features so any help about this is very much appreciated.

We're not able to provide an exact timeline for a fix, but we'd recommend always keeping your Spotify app up to date to ensure you're on the latest version.

 I reactivated my spotify account recently and have not seen my daily mixes since reactivating the premium account. How do I get these back?

Hi there!

As far as I know, the daily mixes are based on an algorithm that clocks your daily listening habits, so it may take a week or two of you listening to your favourite songs/genres for the daily mixes to kick into gear again.

Hope those daily mixes reappear for you!

I noticed the daily mixes before I reactivated to a premium account. Then once I reactivated I did not see those mixes anymore, but could still access the few that were generated from my recent plays.

 

In 4 days it would have been 2 weeks since I went premium again so I will see if they show up then.

 

Just not sure why they disappeared to begin with.

I am still waiting for these to show up.

 

Not sure what to do, but frustrating there is no help from Spotify on this.

Hi, I have also faced this problem personally. I've contacted SpotifyCare about this on Twitter and after following all the troubleshooting options (like clearing cache, logging out, uninstalling the app, reboot, reinstall the app) the problem doesn't go away. In fact, till this day I don't see any Daily Mix or Weekly Mixes on my Spotify like I used to see when I was in free version.

After contacting SpotifyCare, they asked me to keep listening to music for a few more weeks in order for the daily mixes to be generated. But honestly, I'm still waiting for that day. I think there is some sort of bug, but not sure as Spotify Support didn't confirm it and asked me to wait for few more weeks and keep listening to music. I hope it will show up someday. So, I'll recommend the same to you. Keep listening to the music you like for at least 3 weeks and see what happens after that. But I'm glad to know that I'm not the only person facing this issue.

 

Update: I'm taking with the Rockstar team to dig more into it and will let you know as soon as there is any update.

Can you confirm for us that your Daily Mixes are not appearing on any devices?

 

If so, could you provide us with the following information:

  • devices + OS versions
  • exact Spotify versions?

Si, las daily mix desaparecieron al volverme premium.

Cuando no lo era, tenía 6 listas.

En otros dispositivos no tengo daily mixes tampoco.
