Deducted UPI payment but Premium not activated

Hey folks, 


We've been receiving contacts from Indian users saying they've been charged for Premium and yet their account is still on free status. This is being investigated by our teams.

Thanks for your patience while we looked into this issue.

 

We’re happy to say that this should now be fixed for everyone! The payments have been processed and Premium should be active on your end. 

 

If you're still not seeing Premium on your account or if you're concerned about multiple payments, feel free reach out to Customer Support team via one of the channels here. They can take a closer look into the matter and will help you out further, as they are the ones in charge of it and we don't have access to their systems.

The exact same issue for me as well. UPI payments are not being recognised as paid. The money has bee deducted from the back but didn't receive any conformation mail from Spotify. Payment done twice. No refunds have been initiated.

Hello @sakshi4!

 

Thanks for reaching out too. If you made your payment using UPI as well, it's possible that the Premium subscription shows up to 3 days after the payment was made. If you're still not seeing Premium features after 3 days, make sure to let me know.

I have recharged my premium account and money got debited from my bank account but my Spotify account didn't get upgraded to Spotify premium

I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with this. In this case, I'd recommend you get a formal proof of debit from your bank, then, you can submit it to BillDesk Support here to raise a dispute.

 

If you need further help with your case, I'd recommend reaching out to Spotify's Customer support team here, so they can take a look backstage at what's going on.
