[Desktop] Bring Back AUTOPLAY for DESKTOP

I don't understand why but this feature has been removed from Spotify Desktop apps!

I really like that feature and always use it, desktop or mobile. But now it has been removed!

Hey folks,

Thanks for bearing with us 🙂

Autoplay should be back in the newest version of the desktop app. If you're having troubles seeing it on your app's Settings, make sure to perform a clean reinstall of the app on your device.

Cheers!

HI I DON'T KNOW HOW TO START A NEW THREAD BUT I HAVE A HUGE PROBLEM WITH AUTOPLAY.

Spotify has great radio stations, when you choose the "Go to Radio" option on an artist, song, or album. However, the autoplay function, who's purpose is to function as a radio station for whatever you were listening to before it is triggered, seems to employ the same methodology as the "Go to Radio" function only HALF the time. Let me give you an example:

I'll be listening to a playlist that I've created - let's say the theme is soulful, uplifting, old school sounds. I'll let this playlist run through to completion, and trigger autoplay, because I'm hoping to discover similar music to add to said playlist (what autoplay is supposed to do, right?). But it seems like the algorithm that decides what songs to play next is constantly drawn not to songs that fit the same theme of the playlist, but instead to songs it'll think I like based on my general listening habits. This means my autoplay will be full of irrelevant - good, but irrelevant - pop songs (I swear to god the next time I hear Dark Days on an autoplay I'll lose my mind). It plays songs I know I already like, it plays songs it'll think I like, but it has an incredibly hard time just playing songs that fit the mood of the playlist.

FIX THIS.
