[Desktop] Browse is Missing

Description:

This is an ongoing issue, some customers reporting they don't have the Browse option in the desktop client. Browse being missing has been solved for quite a few people, however there are still reports of this issue.

 

To reproduce:

  • Anyone with an affected account will not have the Browse option, which is at the very top of the left hand panel in the Desktop client. 

 

Workaround:

Searching for: "spotify:app:browse" is reported to work for the majority of people experiencing this issue. 

 

Additional information:

In order to help track down this issue, please provide the details in the section below.

 

If you are having this issue, can you please post:

  1. Your desktop operating system (Windows 7/Mac OS X 10.9.x etc).
  2. Your desktop spotify version (Help/Spotify > About)
  3. If your account is Free/Unlimited/Premium
  4. Your country (which is shown on your online account)
  5. Your Spotify username (also shown on your online account)

Updates:

2014-04-29: This bug has now been resolved. If you have the Browse tab, but are getting a blank page, please make a new support topic over in the Desktop Section and we can troubleshoot from there.

Thanks for the reports so far guys! If possible, would you also be able to add point 5 (apologies, slipped my mind the first time) - your Spotify usernames will be useful in case the teams want to check out individual accounts.

If you refernce the attached image you will see the problem i am having. All the tabs that are circled in red all show a black page with te occasional loading icon when i first click on it. I have even tried re-installing SPotify to no success
