[Desktop] Can't sort by length on Liked Songs

My Question or Issue

 I can't sort playlists by length, on my iPhone or on the laptop. I look it up online and according to posts I should be able to at least on my laptop but there is no sorting/duration icon on my playlists. I see the option to sort it by name, album, artist, etc but no sort by length. It's really irritating because I'm trying to make playlists for certain time periods. Has this feature been removed?

We've passed all this on to our tech teams who are still investigating this. While we don't have an exact time frame for a fix, we'd recommend keeping your Spotify app up to date to guarantee you’re rocking all the latest features and fixes.

thanks for posting in the community !

 

I'm adding this help guide on "Sort and Filter" for further info.

If none of the signs are presented on the Spotify app you're using, please perform a full uninstall and reinstall of the Spotify app to make sure you using the latest Spotify version there is and try again.

 

Please let me know if you need further help 😃

I uninstalled and reinstalled Spotify and that did not help. Still cannot sort by song length

I have the same issue, I asked some of my friends too, they encounter the same thing.

I'm not being able to sort "Liked songs" by track duration anymore, the other icons (alphabetical, artist, album, added date) are highlighting when hovering them, and work when cliked, but not the clock icon.

I'm having the same issue. Clock icon is not clickable in my "liked songs". Is there a fix to this? Sorting by song length should be a given...

same issue here. Cant sort by length. It works in the playlist, but in the "liked songs" list dont work.

We really appreciate reporting having troubles sorting by song duration in the desktop app!

 

If this is happening even after performing a thorough reinstallation of the app, make sure to add your +VOTE in this thread.

 

We'd also like to know the following details so we can get this reported with the right teams:

  • Your device
  • The OS (operating system) version you're on
  • The exact version of the app 
  • Is this happening only on Liked Songs or on other playlists as well?

Hi there,
I just performed a thorough reinstallation of the app and I am still
experiencing the same problem. I can't sort by time in my Liked Songs.

Here is my info:
MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2017)
Mac OS Mojave (10.14.6)
Spotify version 1.1.25.559.g85cf5e4c
This is only happening in Liked Songs, not my other playlists
