My Question or Issue

My Top Recommended and everything else under my Discover has not updated in several weeks after typically updating more than once a week. Any suggestions on fixes?

Hey there folks,

We really appreciate all your reports regarding this issue. This should now be fixed.

If you're having troubles, make sure to try a quick reinstall of the app first.

If that doesn't do the trick, we'd still like to know. Just head over to the related Help Board and start a new thread with the necessary info so we can take a closer look. Thanks!

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling again, per instructions from a moderator who responded to another person's message that relayed the same problem I have. Apparenly, Spotify not updating is a bug theyre trying to fix.

But, unfortunately, I am still not getting updated top recomendations, nor updated recommendations in the section where albums are suggested based on what I've listened to.

The past 2 weeks I logged onto Spotify for the first time in a while, and I've been listening to a handful of albums on my account and my recommendations based on what I listened is not popping up. To be more exact, It only gives me recommendations based off only one artist that I listened to the last time I was on my account, and it won't update the 'Top recommendations for you' and 'Because you listened to' despite that I've listened to at least 10 different albums fairly recently this past week, and before It would always update based on what I've listed like it should. I'm not sure what to do? I'd appreciate any help

Hi there!

Hmm, that's strange. Have you tried listening to radio stations of the songs that you like, liking them (clicking on green heart) thus adding them to your 'Liked from radio' playlist?

I hope your recommendations start popping up soon!

I've tried to log out multiple times, like songs etc. But now my daily mixes only offer me Mix 1 instead of the usual 6. Its this seperate issue now I think: https://community.spotify.com/t5/Other-Partners-Web-Player-etc/Daily-Mixes-disappeared/td-p/4429736

Only difference is that mine is the complete opposite. I have all 6 mixes on android and only 1 mix on PC windows 10.

Although I actually removed all songs from that 'liked form radio' section you mentioned. Only thing is is I can only automatically add songs onto that playlist from a playlist radio, not from any song radios which instead goes in my favorites secion.

tomorrow it will be another week since I reported this problem. It wil have been about nine or ten weeks since my Top Recommendations and Discover page updated.

Is there an administrator who can take care of this problem or tell me what's happening?

I've reinstalled multiple times on all devices.

Hey @randyr5, help's arrived.

Your Discover Weekly should give you recommendations based on what you've listened to. If this isn't happening, or it's getting repetitive, make sure that you're not listening in a private session, and mix up the genres a bit :)

You'll also find new music on your Release Radar which recommends new music and releases.

Hope that helps, and let us know if there's anything else.
