My Question or Issue

My Top Recommended and everything else under my Discover has not updated in several weeks after typically updating more than once a week. Any suggestions on fixes?

If you're having troubles, make sure to try a quick reinstall of the app first.

Hello. I have had the same four rows of recommendations in my Discover section for well over a month now. Aren't they supposed to change every week or so?

 

How can I get the Discover function to show me new albums? Should I uninstall and reinstall the app?

For the last 3+ weeks, no personal sections (discover, release radar, top radar) have changed. It's the same list of songs and albums, always. This has never occurred before. It is obviously part of the reason to stick with Spotify as a music platform, so information on when a fix is forthcoming would be appreciated.

 

Yes, I've tried all the usual things: install, wiping cache, re-install, listening to new genres, etc.

Hi, same problem here. In Discover on Desktop /Windows and Android stuck with :

1)Top Recommended

2)Suggested for you based on

3)Similar to

4)Because you listened to

for at least a month

On the bright side :

Discover Weekly and Release Radar

updated weekly.

The features that are stuck are one of my favorites and used to be a source of many discoveries or great reminders.

Spotify Team, please help to sort this out

In the meantime, could you send us the following info so we can pass it on to them:

  • exact Spotify version
  • OS (Windows/Mac) + version
  • when was the last time it updated for you?

Info:

- spotify version (on Samsung S9 phone): 8.4.94.817

- Windows 10 Pro, however I just use the web player via firefox

- I believe the last update was approximately 3 weeks ago

I am using a Pixel 3 XL running Android 9, Spotify version 8.4.94.817. My
app last updated February 20th but there has been no update in much longer
than that.

Desktop version 1.1.0.237. same problems as browser and mobile

I see there is an update for Desktop updateD now to the new version, still the same results - nothing yet changed

 

on mobile Version 8.4.94.817 on Xiaomi Redmi 4A Android version7.1.2.N2G47H

 All in all, there were no updates in

The Discover section last updated for me about four weeks ago.

I have the same issue as described below.

It's been at least 3 weeks since I've seen update of the recommendations.

Devices: desktop/laptop Mac OSX and mobile Android. 

Latest version used: 1.1.0.237.g378f6f25 (Premium)
