[Desktop] Liked Songs not playing in the right order

When I go to my liked songs playlist and sort it by title, it does not play in this order. Not only that it does not even have the songs that play on the playlist. The songs say they are liked, but they are not included in the playlist. Why is this? I want to go through all the songs I have liked because I have had spotify for 4-5 years now and want to clean up my library. This issue is making it very hard.

As a heads up, we’re not able to confirm if or when your specific request will be resolved.

 

However, we'd recommend keeping your Spotify app up to date to guarantee you’re rocking all the latest features and fixes.

Sorry to hear that. Could you confirm the exact version of the Spotify app on your device? 

Click on the 3-dot menu > Help About Spotify and copy paste the exact version of the app. It will useful to help us to find another possible solution.

I'm using windows 10: 1903

I'm using Spotify Version: 1.1.20.510.g7d28aaaa (Microsoft Store version)

And I have roughly 695 Liked songs (Call it 700)

Bittencort has told me to report my thread as an addition to your post here.  Mine information regarding this issue is here:

For me, this happens on both playlists that I have, "all songs" and "liked songs".  Not only that, but it happens on the desktop app AND on the mobile app running on Android 8.3.x OS.  There seems to be no pattern to the behavior, as the songs will skip a random number of records up or down, and sometimes they will revert to playing in the correct order, 1 after another in the playlist.  So it sounds like the programming issue might be pretty deep level.

hey everybody,

I don't know if they fixed this or not, but my songs have now started playing in the right order, and not skipping all over the place, for both my "all songs" list and "liked songs" list.  Did they actually fix it?  I never tried another account.  I only have one account.

Can you help out at all?  Apparently this company is just as bad as all the other big players out there that have no clue what their stuff does.   =(
