[Desktop] Liking a track (thumbs up) won't add the Liked from Radio playlist

Description

If you don't have the Liked from Radio playlist yet , giving any track on any radio station a Thumbs Up the first time should create a new playlist for you called "Liked from Radio."

For some users this playlist isn't being created.

Additional information

When replying please provide this information:

• Did you ever have the "Liked from Radio" playlist?
• At some point did you delete the playlist?
• What version is your desktop client? I.e. 0.8.8.334
• What Operating System are you on? I.e. OS X Mountain Lion, Windows 7 (x64), Windows 8 (x32)
• Have you ever given a track a thumbs up on your mobile device?
• If yes, which mobile device?
• Did the playlist get created at that time?

• What version is your desktop client? 0.8.8 currently, however, as said in the linked thread, this goes way back to the releases when the thumbs functionality was added.
• What Operating System are you on? Windows 7 (64 bit), Windows 8 (64 bit)
• Have you ever given a track a thumbs up on your mobile device? No (not possible on BlackBerry)
• If yes, which mobile device? N/A
• Did the playlist get created at that time? N/A

Gee, and I was always wondering what you were talking about, when someone mentioned this "liked from Radio" playlist.

Just played Radio from my mobile device and liked a song there for the first time ever.

The "Liked from Radio" playlist was instantly created on my desktop app too.

Also when I like a song at the desktop app now it goes straight to this playlist now.

So it seems you have to trigger it first on a mobile device... but that shouldn't really be how it works or should it?

Its definitely a bug by the looks of it, I remember it being announced as a feature on the Spotify blog when the thumbs went live on the desktop version.

I am trying to understand how the thumbs up/down works in Spotify. I am trying to use the playlist radio as a substitute for last.fm, since they no longer are able to deliver specialized content to Norway.

So far the radio solution in spotify have been a disaster. Maybe it is because of me demanding to much? Or maybe I dont understand how it really works?

Can you please tell me where to find the documentation for this feature/bug? How is it really supposed to work?

All I want is the ability to ban songs, and explore new songs based on my listening experience. If I like song A+B then its pretty good chance that I also like song C, or similar. Is this not possible in Spotify?

I have this bug and cannot see the liked from radio playlist!

• If yes, which mobile device? iPhone 4S + iOS 6
• Did the playlist get created at that time? After I changed name of playlist, 'LIKES' from the desktop stopped being added; when I LIKED from mobile the next time, it created a new Liked from Radio automatically. LIKES from mobile now properly are added to new 'Liked from Radio' playlist, BUT, LIKES from Desktop are NOT being added anymore
