My Question or Issue

Dear Spotify Team,
After automatic update of Desktop version of Spotify, the "Recently Played" subsection has disappeared from Home section.
Before update the Home section used to start with "Recently Played", "Made for..." and then the other suggestions.
Now the Home sections starts with show suggestions, but "Recently Played" subsection is nowhere to be found. I did check the whole menu.
If your advise is the Queue/History section - it's not the same as it simply shows the list of all played songs in the row.  "Recently Played" subsection used to show all recently played playlists even those not saved in Library.
Please advise.

It works! Amazing. Great communications by Spotify. This company drives me crazy.

CONFIRMED. After updating Spotify to version 1.1.65.643, 'Recently Played' now appears on the Home page, below 'Recommended for today', 'Shows you might like', and 'Album picks'. I should be able to use Spicetify to move it to the top of the home page.

Whoever is responsible, thanks.

@Bluefinger87

Yes, it's finally fixed on version 1.1.65.643.g2d707698-a.

Thanks for the notification.

Ok, FINALLY it works. Now just let us remove entries from the list, like we could before, as it easily clogs up.

Does it work for you on open.spotify.com? For me, it doesn't.

Also the new section "Good evening" is always showing the same four albums. For more than a week now.

@Der_Xte_Mensch

It's there for me, but doesn't work properly (new stuff disappears and albums from months ago remain)

And it looks very much like the issue is BACK with version 1.1.70.160blabla. I had recently played on the home screen two days ago, and it's gone since I was stupid enough to "update to the latest version".

@franklekens , @CarlosE

I've just updated to version 1.1.70.610.g4585142b, and the "Recently played" hub is still displaying on my Home page.

I am still waiting for them to return the ability to remove items from the "Recently played" hub though. This was very useful for removing items I might have listened to out of curiosity, but then had no interest in listening to again.

Just a point of note: To avoid any confusion, instead of trying to type out the version number that is displayed under the "Help -> About Spotify" section, click the icon next to the version number to copy it, then paste it into your post. That way we all know exactly which version you are using.
