Desktop app doesn't scroll up when moving song to the top

Hey folks,

We have received reports that since a recent update, it's not possible to drag tracks upwards in a playlist on the desktop app if you want to manually rearrange them.

When reaching the edge of the current view, the playlist does not scroll up to allow the rearrangement. Scrolling down works.

Hey everyone,

Thanks for your patience while we looked into this issue.

We’re happy to say that this should now be fixed for everyone! Just make sure your app is updated to the latest version.

If you're still having trouble, make sure to post a new thread in the relevant help board here.

Thanks!

same problem exist in the queue, a song at #50 and getting it to #1 would take you 4 manual drags as you can only move up 10 songs a time, i manage a playlist with 1900 songs in a custom order and it would take me hours to get a newly added song from the bottom to the right place which might be up at 30#

My Question or Issue

Having an issue when I try and sort playlists. When I try to move a song or group of songs from the bottom to the top by dragging them up, normally the playlist would scroll up until it reached the top of the playlist. However, when I've tried to do this recently, it has stopped scrolling when it reaches the top of the screen, which is some way down the playlist. This is really annoying as I do a lot of my listening using large playlists.

I've tried a clean install but this hasn't solved the issue. Hope you can help.

Moving tracks to the top does not longer start the scrolling of the playlist

Once this is fixed i would really appreciate it if we could also more easily move aorund in a playlist when moving songs around. The scroll is usually very very slow, could there be a keyboard shortcut to move the current selection of songs up and down the playlist?

Is this any update as to how soon this issue will be fixed? It's been almost a week and it's still happening.

I am experiencing the exact same issue.  It's very annoying when trying to make a custom playlist.

Some sort of patch would be amazing as I'm stuck having to order my playlist in ways that are unsatisfactory to me.

Also, OT, but when in the heck are the lossless tracks coming out????  I've been waiting all year, and quite frankly, especially with this very annoying playlist scroll bug, I'm seriously thinking about switching to AmazonHD or maybe even Tidal.  I don't want to, but if there's no lossless by March of 2022 I'm going to have to switch.  At least give us some concrete updates and if the rollout is going to take longer than expected, just be honest and I'm sure most customers will stay with Spotify.  It's the "not knowing" which is annoying and frustrating.  Thanks.
