Desktop app doesn't scroll up when moving song to the top

Hey folks,

We have received reports that since a recent update, it's not possible to drag tracks upwards in a playlist on the desktop app if you want to manually rearrange them.

When reaching the edge of the current view, the playlist does not scroll up to allow the rearrangement. Scrolling down works.

Hey everyone,

Thanks for your patience while we looked into this issue.

We’re happy to say that this should now be fixed for everyone! Just make sure your app is updated to the latest version.

If you're still having trouble, make sure to post a new thread in the relevant help board here.

Thanks!

I am not able to move songs either. I need this issue fixed ASAP. I am a curator and I need to be able to move songs accordingly

This very much needs to get fixed. It's impossible to anything with playlists that scroll past the size of my screen which are...pretty much all of them. Everywhere. All the time.

I hope it gets resolved very soon.

Same issue here.

And while you're fixing this, could you also please, please, please, please reactivate ctrl-X and ctrl-V in playlists? Dragging and dropping takes time when my playlists have hundreds of tracks and I want to move something up towards the top.

I was also about to post this. I have uninstalled Spotify and reinstalled. Please fix this ASAP, this makes any playlist with more than about 15 songs static. I need to be able update my playlist with 100's of songs.

Guys fixing this feature is imperative! I replace my entire 40hour/630+ song playlist every week, & had to do it this time without being able to drag songs up past the top of my screen. This bug is making my job Much harder… (Your suggestion/workaround doesn’t work on my Dell PC or my Samsung tablet, both have this issue)
