Devices are not syncing

Multiple users report that playback throughout their devices is not syncing. Apparently, this makes it possible to play different content from the same Spotify account simultaneously on different devices, but users can't control what they're listening to using Spotify Connect across the devices and cannot use the Jam feature.

This should now be fixed and if you're still experiencing the same issue, we recommend updating the app to the newest version.

I'm having the same problem as of tonight, I can not broadcast through my discord profile and its not connecting my phone through the Wifi...I hope they fix this soon it must be an outage on their end because it was working fine earlier!

Same here, I can connect to Samsung M7 and Samsung Linkmate speakers and play music on them via the Samsung multiroom app. I still see the speakers in the Spotify apps on iphone and macbook, but I cannot connect to them or splay music on them. Suddenly started today.

Hey, I'm having the same issue, currently on Spotify for macOS (Intel) 1.2.30.1135.g02fef27a and iPhone 13 Pro with iOS 17.3, I have tried uninstalling the spotify app on the macbook (Pro 2019) and installing again.

Thanks, similar problem here. But indeed I can still connect to my speakers with the browser Spotify Web Player!

Same issue and started today. Plays on both TV / PS & phone simultaneously (not supposed to do that) however does not connect through mobile app so you have no control over the songs playing on tv through mobile app.

This issue appears to be sorted now i haven't had to do anything my discord just started broadcasting again... Thank you!

Yep, speakers have reappeared in the iOS app now :)..
