I am having this same issue. I just upgraded to premium too. These issues and not having a 24/7 help chat aren't how you keep people paying. If this isn't fixed within the next few days I will be cancelling my subscription.

@user-removed, @sammyb126, and @eligundry: can you let us know the exact operating system and version of Spotify you're using? Also, is this happening when you log in to your account from another device (e.g. your cell phone or tablet)?
I noticed this a few days ago but figured it would clear up and it has not. Happening on both OSX 10.11.6 and iOS 9. OSX version of spotify is 1.0.38.171.g5e1cd7b2.
