Discover Weekly is not updating

Hey everyone,

 

We're seeing reports about the Discover Weekly not updating. If you're also experiencing this, make sure to add a +Vote. Then:

 

  • Make sure that you've listened to music regularly in the past week and not only the Discover Weekly playlist.
  • Confirm that you weren’t using Private session.
  • Check if other playlists in the Discover section have updated.

Let us know the above and we'll have a closer look together with the right team.

Thanks for all your reports regarding this!

 

We've done some tweaks backstage so that this should be now fixed.

 

You can shake things up by logging out and closing the app, then launching it again and logging back into your Spotify account.

 

If that doesn't do the trick and your Discover Weekly hasn't updated, let us know by creating a thread in the relevant Help Board.

My Discover Weekly tab won’t refresh. I’ve tried relogging and following and unfollowing the playlist, but, it still has the same songs as last week.

 

I am not in a private session.

 

My recommended for today tab updated.

 

I have been listening to atleast 20 hours outside my discover tab since it last updated.

I tried logging out and in again and unfollowed the list and refollowed and that didn't help aswell. Tried all on my phone, desctop-app and in browser. DiscoverQuickly says that I'm currently not following my discover weekly. Might give a clue where the problem comes from.
