Discover weekly + Release radar not updating

Hello,

 

My Release radar hasn't updated in 18 days. Discover weekly in 15 days.

 

I've started restarting the desktop application, same result. I've restarted my iphone app as well, same result. When I log in via the web app at open.spotify.com, same result 😞

 

Can someone help me? Those are the playlists that I follow the most.

Hey @unknow_x, welcome to the Community!

 

How often have you been streaming in the past 2 weeks? Also, when streaming, do you usually use the Private Session feature? 

 

If not, have you mostly been listening to your Discover Weekly and Release Radar playlists? If so, you'll need to listen to music outside of these playlists so the streams are used for the recommendations in those lists.

Hello @SergioDavid!

 

I'm streaming around 10 hours a day I'd say, everyday 😉 The only time I'm not streaming is when I eat + sleep + play with my kid.

 

Also, I haven't been listening to neither playlist for more than a week since they haven't been updated in so long.

 

Also, I'm listening to close to a dozen playlists regularly and many many more playlists/artisits irregularly. 

 

What is the private session feature? Not sure what that is, so I can't answer your question.

You can find all the info about Private Sessions here.

 

About your Discover Weekly, let's try unfollowing it and following it again under Browse > Discover > Discover Weekly. Also, make sure you don't have multiple Spotify accounts that could be causing this issue.
