Discover weekly not updating/repeats of the week before

Hi,

 

I started to notice that my discover weekly playlist started to repeat some songs. Thought that's OK, until this week, when even each song is marked as updated on Monday, but the list is 100% the same as last week. So it is not updated.

I tried it on Android, desktop and web version with the same result. Tried unfollowing and following again, not helping.

This should be fixed now. As of today, you should be seeing a fresh Discover Weekly.

As much as i like this playlist you guys picked for me three weeks ago it hasnt updated since. 

 

• Tried logging out and in

• Tried unfollowing and re-following discover weekly

 

no juice. Any pointers?

Can you let us know:

- Your device

- Operating system

- Version of Spotify

 

Also, could you try the below? (if you've not already)..
- Log out/in

- Reinstall the app

- Unfollow your DW playlist, and then follow it again under Browse > Discover

- Don't use Private Listening when streaming for a while

- Add your fav songs to Your Music/playlists

 

Let us know if this gets you going again,

About a month or so ago my Discover Weekly playlist started updating less and less frequently (used to update every Monday, then started updating on Tuesday, occasionally even Wednesday), but this week it hasn't updated at all. Is this a glitch? I have been using Spotify daily for over a year and haven't changed any settings or anything else.

As we've had a couple of reports from you regarding this, we're passing the info on to our tech team.

In the meantime, if you've not already please can you try:

- Log out/in

- Reinstall the app

- Unfollow your DW playlist, and then follow it again under Browse > Discover

- Don't use Private Listening when streaming for a while

- Add your fav songs to Your Music/playlists
