Downloading on Apple Watch stuck at first song

Same issue here. Stuck on waiting forever. 

The Apple Watch app really is a headache to use. I find myself constantly getting frustrated trying to accomplish basic tasks.

Posting a comment in the hope that this might help this be escalated by Spotify engineering (though I see the issue has been marked as "Not now")

The "Download to Apple Watch" experience is terrible.

I've been a user of this feature since it was introduced, since i often like to listed to music while running, and I don't want to carry my phone with me.

I went from an older Apple Watch generation to a Series 8, and on both the feature was almost unusable. On Series 8: I managed to download some playlists; however, at some point they simply disappeared from the watch without any notice (might have been after a software update?). I tried to download others, but they simply got stuck at "Waiting". Tried stopping / starting the apps and the phone, disconnecting wifi and bluetooth, etc (i.e. many of the fixes suggested on this thread) without any success. In the end the only thing that worked was uninstalling and reinstalling the Spotify app.

I am a long time Spotify Premium user, but the complete disregard for an "officially supported" feature such as downloads on Apple Watch is making me seriously consider moving to Apple's music service.

This is still broken 3 years on. Absolutely shocking attitude from Spotify.

Time to explore Apple Music.

This is a bug not a feature request, being able to download and listen to music on the Apple watch is a killer feature, but it no longer works.
