Downtime 6th May 2025: Top Tracks and Albums missing on Artist profiles

We've seen reports that some users are having issues viewing Top Tracks on the Artist profile. Some also report that they're not able to view the Albums.

My Question or Issue

Discographies aren’t showing up on any artist pages, nor are Popular Songs. It seems no one else has reported this issue yet, apart from a resolved thread from a few years ago. Songs that have been saved to playlists are still playable, and you are still able to get to albums and songs either from playlists or Search, but not from the artist page itself. Everything else normally on the artist page is still visible, just not the discographies or the Popular list normally shown at the top. Pressing the play button on the artist will still play their popular songs, but they aren’t shown.

I've been using this app for years, never encountered this issue til now. I've tried logging out, clearing cache, nothing works. 2025 btw.

Same problem here. Using an iPhone 15 and PC - and the search function doesn't work at all on the PC, either.

Why can I not see an artists discography on the Spotify app anymore? I'm a premium member and I woke up today to all artists top 10 songs being removed as well as any easy access to their discography. All I can see is an artist curated playlist and other playlists that feature them. This is horrible. I hope there is a way to change this in my settings or some kind of middle ground with the old setup is brought back.

seriously making me consider unsubscribing entirely and moving to Apple Music this is infuriating.

I'm on android and having the same issue. This makes zero sense at all if this was a purposeful update. You simply can't explore an artist from their own page.

I hope this isn’t a new update and is just temporary. Top songs is the best part of Spotify
