Downtime 6th May 2025: Top Tracks and Albums missing on Artist profiles

We've seen reports that some users are having issues viewing Top Tracks on the Artist profile. Some also report that they're not able to view the Albums.

Came here to also say I'm having the same issue. If this was a purposeful update from Spotify, this had to of been their worst idea ever. But it seems as it wasn't intentional, which makes me relieved.

Spotify has just launched today a new interface for the artists' home page. It removes the preivous Albuns section and Top 5 Songs section.

 

I propose bring these two back, especially the Albuns section. Several users I know have conplained these were the two most used sections by them.

 

An Album section is one of the most basic features an artist's page should have. Like those users, the primary way I like to know a new artist is by listening to each album, not just a curated lists by a third person. This lets us know the artist deeper, ultimately bringing more views. Now the only way to reach the albums is through the Search page. Honestly, what could possibly be more basic to an author's profile than showing their full work?  Would you erase a "books" section from a writer's page?

 

It's okay to give more focus to playlists in the update, but please keep the Album section to leave an option for us artist-driven users, rather than only focusing on "content" (like playlists and radios). Too much focus on "content" does reflects poorly to Spotify's image for users that want deep connection to their artists, pushing them away.

Spotify keeps going up, you guys keep cheaping out on your servers and refuse to pay artist their fare share just to have a non functioning search bar, fix your priorities and fix your damn app.

Depuis ce matin, toutes les playlist ont disparu de Spotify. Aussi bien celles que j'ai créées que celles disponibles sur l appli. Quand je veux lire un titre il ne se lance pas, quand je veux effectuer une recherche, on me dit que la chanson où l'artiste n'existe pas. Les noms de mes playlist sont une suite de lettres et chiffres sans queue ni tête, et mon profil, au lieu d'être la lettre S, c'est un 3... Quand je veux ouvrir mes titres liés, ça me marque "une erreur s'est produite". L'appli est à jour, j'ai essayé de dessinstaller et réinstaller, sans succès, j'ai éteins et rallume le téléphone à chaque fois, sans succès.

J'ai un abonnement premium, et j'ai un Huawei p20 lite système android.

This issue has NOT been fixed?  I am still having this issue only on my android mobile phone, not my android tablet?  

Deleted the app numerous times, cleared cache, NO EFFECT?

This has been happening for a while and makes the app unusable?

It would be nice if you could explain in simple english how to fix it
