Downtime [8th June 2021]: Web Player, other pages and images in the app not loading

Hey folks,

Writing to let you know about the fact that different websites are currently down due to a general outage.  

In relation to Spotify, this affects the Web Player as well as the loading of album artwork / playlist covers in the app both on desktop and mobile. The Spotify Support page or spotify.com can also be experiencing intermittent outages.

Rest assured we're looking into this and will update you as soon as possible. As a reminder, make sure you add your +VOTE and subscribe if you're affected by this in order to receive all the updates.

In the meantime, it'd be great for you to try using the app, if possible.

Thank you for reporting what's happening with the images in the app so quickly!

It's amazing to see how many Community members are active and willing to help. 

Writing to reassure we're aware and actively looking into this in connection with the issue previously reported in this thread.

Images are no longer loading anywhere

some of the androids users are not seeing images, covers, on the app or on computers,  I tried restarting the app a couple of times and only certain images will show, please, fix it as soon as possible

my spotify desktop is not loading any images if someone could tell me how to fix it it would be great

Same problem here. On my Fire TV it had a black screen with No Connection error. I deleted, re-added app, still same black screen. I then accessed it from my IPhone, tried to mirror play to my tv— but it would not connect to tv. Deleted cell app, re-added, still nothing. I then turned off, unplugged tv, then turned back on. Accessed from my cell again- then it saw my TV as a connected device,  Spotify displayed on tv but with most images, including mine i just uploaded on cell app, gray boxes. Doesn't give me options in Account to do anything (i’m on a premium plan). Spent last part of the hour messing with this😠
