Downtime March 8th 2022 - General log in issues with the app

Users are currently being logged out of Spotify and unable to log back in. This seems to be affecting mostly the mobile app.

Thanks for your patience while we looked into this issue.


We’re happy to say that users now should be able to log back in. If you’re still having issues, try restarting your device and also make sure to check out this Support page. 


If you were able to log in, but can't see your library, it's possible that you logged in on a different account by mistake, so make sure to confirm your main account login details before continuing.

Device: PC, OS: Windows 10, Spotify Version


Device = iPhone 10, iOS

Locked out of Spotify.


Chromebook (not sure when was last update but no updates pending so latest update) and iPhone Xr (version 8.7.10).

FYI: Currently locked out on Mac laptop, both desktop app and web player. 

Have reset password, still no dice.

IPhone app. I uninstalled the app and dowloaded it again. Signed in just fine after that, all my stuff still there. 


Social aspects still seem to not be working. For example Friend Activity, and Blends show '? + ?' instead of user names.


... well that's weird i'm logged in but i can't access to anything, can't even check my account info so as the familly info and all ...
