This keeps happening to me too - just started yesterday and today as well.

This is happening to me, too! Only on desktop (premium account), never on Android. Track gets to the end but won't advance to the next - it just sort of gets stuck.I can either click the next button, or rewind the track a few seconds and it will continue on.

I only started getting the "Can't Play Current Track" message in the past couple days (after unchecking local file options, clearing the cache, uninstalling, and reinstalling), but the stopping-after-each-track behavior has been going on for a while (couple weeks, I think).

Device: Surface Pro 3

OS: Windows 8.1 (desktop mode)

Spotify version: 1.0.15.133.gf21970bd

I have no local files and have turned off all local file options

Something similar is also happening to me with the Linux desktop client (on Fedora). At first it will play fine (about 2-3 songs), then the current song cuts out half way through and the "Can't play current track" error appears. Except when this happens, the next songs also don't play. The progress bar keeps going, but no audio (other system audio still works). The only way to get it to work is to restart spotify (and the problem just happens again after 2-3 songs).

I just installed it today, so can't say if it's a recent issue or not. Also a Premium user with no local sources configured.

OS: Fedora 22

Version: 1.0.15.137.gbdf68615

me too it work on my iphone but not on my pc (premium)

Same here and it only started happening since I updated to El Capitan OSX.

1.0.16.104 on Windows here.  Getting a lot of "can't play the current track."  Sometimes the track will resume play if I let it sit for 20-30 seconds.

I can't play any songs (or radio), all skip to the next with "Can't play the current track."

Same here, this has started happening this week. On Mac OSX Mavericks. It works fine most of the time but over Airplay its getting worse and worse.
