Embedded link doesn't update when playlist is updated

I've edited a playlist and wish to share it on Facebook but when I paste the embedded code it still shows the artwork for songs that I've deleted.  It also shows the old description for the playlist.  

I've tried to share on mobile and two different laptops and have updated Spotify on one and the same error occurs.  

Is there a work around to have the playlists embedded code update?

Hey there @NickDevin, thanks for posting! 

Unfortunately there is a little delay with updating the information about your playlist in Facebook, and you'll have to wait some more time till it's get updated. But it's only on the thumbnail, when the people open your playlist they'll see it all updated!

The issue is still happening after 24 hours.  How long do I need to wait usually for the content to update?

I'm sorry to tell you this, but in facebook the things are happening quite slowly, it takes up to 4-5-6 days to update.

Do you know how long it takes for embedded playlists on 'regular' websites? (I have a personal website)
I don't get why the actual playlist can change instantly but the embedded playlist doesn't change instantly.

It doesn't feel like there would be any performance issues or anything.
