Hi everyone, I've solve this problem after my long research on Internet.
(For Mac, Taiwan user) Please find the following file, and change the name "zh-hant.mo" to "zh-TW.mo"
I guess it's the same way to solve for PC users and users from other countries or regions.
Hoping this info could help you!
Macbook Pro 2017
MacOS 11.1 (Big Sur )
My Question or Issue
Please take a look at the image I attached.
I've checked out most of solutions, and it's really a rare situation.
There's no any error content to identify what the problem is, and all I can do is to clean up & reinstall Spotify App (but still doesn't work).
Since I can still use the open.spotify.com to listen to musics, I think my account is fine. Does anyone knows what's going on here?
Hey there folks,
Once again thanks for waiting.
We can confirm this should now be fixed!
Make sure your device and operating system are up-to-date before trying again.
If you happen to experience the issue again, write in the Help Boards and let us know the exact Spotify version you are on as well as make and model of the device(s) involved.
We'll be keeping an eye out for your replies, thanks!
(Windows 10 64Bit)
When I use a new computer to log in to SPOTIFY, the computer screen shows some strange messages like "error-dialog.generic.header error-dialog.generic.body FATAL-ERROR.BUTTON-LABEL" (similar to the program dialog box).
Then I removed SPOTIFY and reinstalled it several times, but the same error still appeared. This includes the use of advanced options "Repair" or "Reset". After pressing the reset option, SPOTIFY returns to the login screen, but the same problem occurs as long as the account password is entered.
PS: The SPOTIFY in my iPhone is used normally.
The answer: (Win10)1. Go to this path: C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\Spotify2. Open "prefs" and add language="zh-TW"
IF you have another computer(two or more installed Spotify),when you fixed one computer and another computer maybe get the wrong.
go to this path: ~/Library/Application Support/Spotify/prefsreplace language = "zh-Hants" with "zh-TW"
No Spotify folder in ~Library/Application Support/
Thanks. It works. Spotify comes back!
Hi there @Sujung
thanks for reaching out !
I'd recommend giving the steps provided here a chance.
It will have you perform a clean reinstall of your app which is a bit different than the usual one.
In addition, please make sure that the firewall/antivirus aren't interfering Spotify on your device.
Let me know how it goes 🙂
I changed the language here , and the problem has been solved.
Thanks for keeping us in the loop!
We’re happy to hear changing the language setting fixed this for you.
If you have any questions we're always one post away.
Еnjoy your music!
Win101. Go to this path: C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\Spotify2. Open "prefs" and add language="zh-TW"
