Fix the issue where Spotify must be restarted to refresh Discover Weekly playlist

Status: Closed

Discover Weekly (and potentially Release Radar) does not update after 7 days unless Spotify is restarted. It would be ideal if this was not the case and it updated by itself without a reboot.

Can you let us knows if this happens accross devices? Also, have you heard of someone that's experiencing something similar? In the meantime, we suggest unfollowing your Discover Weekly and following it back to see if it helps.

Yes it happens across devices. I have heard of a friend's doing the same thing. I'll have to wait 8 days to see if unfollowing and following it again works.

No worries, since the Discover Weekly updates every Monday, we suggest you wait until then and check if any changes happen on this playlist.
