My Question or Issue

Hi all,

I've been enjoying Spotify on my Garmin Watch for a few weeks now, but sadly BBC Podcasts don't appear at all, despite the fact that I follow them on my smartphone.

The issue appears to be limited to the BBC.

Can anyone help with delving a bit deeper into the matter? I'd very much like to listen to the BBC's content via the watch as well.

Not able to sync BBC podcasts through Spotify to Forerunner 245 Music with current software. I’m pretty sure I’ve been able to do it before, so maybe this issue comes and goes? I was losing my mind for a bit trying to figure out what it kept saying “Music Sync Complete” despite not syncing anything until I found this thread.

This is really disappointing, lots of podcasts just don't work. I had just switched to Spotify for my podcasts so it would sync with my watch.

I am on a Garmin Forerunner 955 although I doubt that is relevant.

Please fix this Spotify!

Same issue, this is really poor, I've also noticed that my Amazon Alexa struggles with BBC podcasts via Spotify (but can work around by using the BBC sounds app)

The original issue, with NRK (Norwegian public broadcaster), is no longer relevant by the way, since NRK has locked down all their podcasts to their own apps. If BBC will do the same, we will have a bigger problem than the Spotify bug...

On Garmin I've found an app called playrun that worked well for me instead, just annoying having to switch between than and Spotify for when I want music
