Gear icon in Your Episodes is unresponsive

We’re seeing reports that the gear icon in Your Episodes section becomes unresponsive when clicked on.

 

This seems to affect the Android mobile app only.

We have good news from our tech team - this is now fixed! Just make sure to update your app to the latest version 🙂

My Question or Issue

Since the latest update, tapping the settings button in "New Episodes" does not open the configuration options.
I’ve cleared the cache and also uninstalled and reinstalled the app, but the issue remains.

The non-functional cog button issue does now seem to have been fixed. In my case there was an update in the Google Play store that sorted it out.

 

However, if you want to definitively remove a podcast from the Your Episodes playlist, it looks like you still have to go through them one at a time. In my case, the list now contains over 3000 podcasts, and guess what, I'm not prepared to waste hours doing that. 

 

Also, in an effort to solve this issue, I've unfollowed all the podcasts I had followed, and yet nothing has been removed from Your Episodes. Surely episodes from Podcasts that are no longer followed should automatically disappear from this playlist.

 

The 'Manage' option in Your Episodes Settings needs to offer a way to get rid of multiple older podcasts from the Your Episodes list, either automatically or as a deliberate choice - expecting a user to go through them one by one is unacceptable.

It works again for me. It seems like it was fixed a few minutes ago. I think it should be available again for others in the next few hours. 

 

Edit: I've just seen the other replies to this. It seems it took a little longer on my phone. 🙂

Hey everyone,

 

Is anyone else facing an issue where the gear icon in the "Your Episodes" section doesn't respond when clicked? I’ve tried refreshing, logging out and back in, and even switching browsers — but no luck so far.

 

Would appreciate if someone from the team or community knows a fix or if it's a known bug being worked on. Thanks in advance!
