Gift cards starting with INC aren't redeeming on the Spotify.com website.

We are currently investigating this for users. For now please send us an email via the contact form with a picture of the back of the gift card and the receipt. Be sure to include your Spotify username in the email as well.

I filed a support request for this issue last night (03204239). Glad to see there's a known issue and it isn't just me. However, there is no place in the web form to attach pictures. I forwarded the automated support request confirmation with pictures to support@spotify.com. I'm looking forward to the $30 credit.

This is bad luck! I bought my giftcard just an hour ago and it starts with "INC". and it isn't working.. that is very frustrating 😞

My card starts with BHN and are not working at all.. is this any problem for anyone els?

Hi. Two of the $10 card i bought aren't working too. But the code starts with BHN. Is there a solution regarding this matter too?

Hi. Just to elaborate on my problem, I had two.

But first, the code is made up of three alpha characters (BHN in your case) followed by three groups of three hex characters (zero through to F). Firstly there was a problem with the three lead characters which weren't recognised by Spoitify's system. The second problem I had was the middle character of the first hex group (the three characters after BHN) was missing. Not knowing the format at that time, the problem twigged and I got a digital microscope and I could see a feint outline of the missing character. After Spotify fixed the start code issue, I put the rest of the code in complete with the missing character and it worked.

They are still not my favourite people but they did fix the problem although not before a veiled threat. What they didn't do was compensate me for my costs to get it fixed.
