Home tab shows up as offline on Apple CarPlay

Hey folks,

 

We’re seeing reports that Home tab on Apple CarPlay show no content, but the error message “Spotify is offline - you can play downloads from Your Library" appears. 

 

This is now being investigated.

Exact same problem here, Just started recently. Using IOS 16.2 on iPhone iPhone 12 Pro and Carplay in 2017 Chev

Have the same issue as everyone else. Only commenting so Spotify sees this issue.

I have exactly the same problem. And get the same on screen message. Can play anything from the the Spotify App on the I phone Pro 12 itself but can’t access home page through CarPlay.

In order to forward all your reports to the right teams for further investigation, make sure to provide the following info in case you haven't:

  • Your device's make, model and exact OS version
  • The exact Spotify app version currently running on your device
  • The troubleshooting steps you've already tried, if any

Having the same issue. iPhone 12 Pro Max.

iOS version: 16.1.2

Spotify Version: 8.7.92.521

 

Removed app completely from device and readers - Issue still present. 
Removed device from CarPlay and set up as new device - Issue still present.
