I don't appreciate the use of the "F" word in a currently running commercial.
If this is your way for trying to force me to go premium...I would rather drop out altogether.
Thanks for your feedback. We've now passed this on to the right team.
If you have any other feedback, make sure to create a new thread in the help boards, and we'll get back to you there.
Hey @Debiondo, and welcome to the community.
Hope you're doing great!
I'm very sorry to hear this. It is never Spotify's intent to provide those innapropriate ads, and they have no control over it. It is also not possible to skip ads unless you upgrade to Premium, as ads keep Spotify free.
*If it's a certain type of ad, feel free to let me know what it's about, and where it came from, but if its in general, Spotify has no control over this.
I'm sorry for the inconvience you faced, and if you need help with anything else, just let me know 🙂
It's particularly one with a promo to hear a heavy metal playlist created by spotify the ad has a track for "disturbed" and It says F word right at the outset of the advertisement for this playlist. SO, I would say yes spotify curated the playlist.
Hey again @ParentalControl.
There is an Idea about implementing a function to report ads. it's currently inactive but if the idea starts getting more votes it will be reconsidered.
If you have anymore questions, just let me know 🙂
I came here to complain about the same exact ad. It's coming on my account frequently and I don't listen to metal. It says the F word loudly. While I do listen to artists with explicit lyrics (mainly hip-hop), I typically don't play those tracks when my kids are lisetning with me. This ad comes on no matter what I'm listening to. Not cool.
Hey there folks,
We really appreciate taking the time to report this in the Community!
So we can pass this on to the right team, please let us know the following details:
I just heard one on a the desktop Spotify for an ad for "Cut on Tuesday". Why is that necessary to have in a commercial? I make a point to keep all my songs PG so my whole family can listen only to have an ad drop an F-bomb. I dont mind listening to the ads.. but the f-bomb was soooo not needed. Not classy Spotify.
Hey there @Frencheire,
