In-car app for Land Rover doesn't display 'My Playlists' anymore

My Question or Issue

Just upgraded from iPhone 5 (ios10.3) to iPhone XR (ios12.2). Unfortunately where the Spotify app worked beautifully with Jaguar incontrol and iPhone 5, now with the iPhone XR it is only possible to see the “Recently played” in “Your library”. All the other options such as “albums, playlists, stations etc” are no longer  displayed and therefore cannot be accessed. 

Have tried deleting and reinstalling the Spotify app but still the same. 

Any help/suggestions would be gratefully appreciated. Using the app previously was such a pleasure especially on long journeys.

I have exactly the same problem.Not worth continuing with Spotify. Apple Music works great. Is there an answer please?????

No answer yet I’m afraid. Guess the more people who post about this issue will maybe get Spotify to address the problem.
There was a recent update but no change.

I’m having the same issues. Only see previously played. 

I have an iPhone 8 and it was working correctly until an update earlier in the year.

So have had a chance to play about with this. Used the old iPhone 5 with an older version of Spotify (stupidly did not note the version) and the same version of the jaguar app. With this setup the library was available.
Updated Spotify and only “previously played” available.
So looks like the problem is with the Spotify app.

How did you manage to contact Spotify? Cant seem to find a way to contact them, perhaps with some more information they maybe able to help

I think i contacted them them using the app. and chatted that way.  They when through a pile of things but didn’t consider it was a bug.


You woild think Landrover would sort this out for us?

Many thanks for following this up. It’s really frustrating not being able
to access playlists and albums. Been the case for months.

Just to provide some additional into we have two Range Rovers. A Sport
(2016) and a Evoque (2017) with the new wide screen nav and in control.
Same issue in both vehicles using different landrover software and when
using different IPhones.
No updates to any of the Landrover Incontrol software has occurred.

All you see is recently played.
