Issues after upgrading to family plan on iOS noticed

I recently switched from premium after 5+ years and not one issue with playing songs to a family plan so my dad could have spotify as well and we thought why not try a family plan? At first I thought it was coincidence but it's literally every song will skip horribly and pause more than 20+ times every 5-10 seconds throughout track to the point I hate even trying to use it on my phone! Has anyone else experienced this issue after switching from premium to family? Is it just coincidence or possible reason that could be causing this all of a sudden? Seems odd it happened right when I switched and never did for so many years...

Hey there, @lindseylonadier!

Thanks again for coming to the Community.

As we've not heard back from you, we're going to close this thread up now.

In the meantime, we'd recommend trying the steps suggested by @Hubo.

Also, it might be worth checking:

- That you don't have any battery/power saving modes enabled on your device which could be interfering with things.

- Check your connection/restart your router if applicable.

- Check you don't have any cache-clearing apps downloaded which could be interfering with things.

- Check out your offline devices here: https://www.spotify.com/account/overview/ - a quick 'Remove All' and resync of your offline tunes might help.

If the issue continues, don't hesitate to give us a shout in a new thread.

Many thanks 🙂
