Issues with searching profiles in the app

We've received reports that users are experiencing issues with searching profiles in the app. No profiles show up in the results and the "Profiles" filter is also missing.

This is being investigated.

My Question or Issue

Hi, I’m trying to search for someone’s profile. I was able to do it before, but now when I type that persons name into the search bar their profile does not appear. I also don’t have the profiles button to narrow the search anymore if their username is two words. I am able to get to their profile through a friends profile page.

Thanks for coming to the Community.

It's common that not all profiles appear in Search. The same applies to playlists. 🙂 

The more followers you have, the more likely it is to appear in Search.

My Question or Issue

Since updating my iPhone I cannot search profiles on Spotify. I type in names and only “artists,” “podcasts,” etc come up. It seems the “profile” header is completely gone. This happens when I type in any name (friend or not.) Does anyone have a fix for this?

same issue, both on windows and ios apps. The "Profiles" header is gone after typing whitespace, so its not possible to search full name, just first name only.

Hi I'm also having this issue on Android. I've done everything I can think of to fix it (clearing cache and data from app, logging out, restarting phone, reinstalling app, updating app) and nothing fixes it. All I can find is a recent flag stating thereve fixed the bug, but they haven't for me.

There is a problem in the search of profile. 

I cant find users with their names and not with the spotify:profile:username.

 It just dont lets you write more than the name plus two letters, than the profile option disappear.

For  example, i couldn't even find me writing my full name and also part of it. 

I think this issue was already happened but now it is back.
