Listen Along/Together feature on Discord not working

Hey folks, 

We've received some reports that the Listen Along feature on Discord isn't working.

This is being investigated.

Same  problem here. Has anyone found a way to potentially downgrade their version of spotify and making it work that way?

Same, I click listen along and it just loads for like a minute and then doesn't connect, but it still displays on my status when i play a song on my own. It just wont let me listen along.

Thanks for posting in the Community. We hope you don't mind us responding in English as this is the official language of the forum. 

Could you make sure that you and your friends are using the newest Spotify-version on your devices? Also, make sure you've got a stable Internet connection and if possible try with a different one. 

To see if it'll make any difference you can also switch the person that's sending the invitation to the Jam session.

We see you've tried some troubleshooting. Could you explain to us in what circumstance does listening along not work? Keep in mind its not intended to work while in a voice channel. Also another bit of information is if the friend you are listening with has a free account , you will hear silence while they are listening to an add break.

I'm sure my friends and I have the most updated version of Spotify and Discord.
But we continue to have the same problems, we can't follow anyone's activity, it keeps loading forever to join a song, and I've already tested it with other people and it's the same

Glad to know it's not me, super annoying. Spotify did something and it's messed up, I don't think it's discord. LAME. Cleared cache, reinstalled legit EVERYTHING. If anyone finds a fix for this please let me know cause I wanna listen with my friends 😞

hello, I am having the same issue. I have uninstalled and reinstalled discord and Spotify. I am trying to listen along with my bf in a private call, not a server channel. We are on a duo premium plan, so we both have premium. It used to work and is no longer working. When he sends the link to join (and he's removed from 'invisible' he usually sets to dnd or online) and then shares the link, when I click the green join button, all it does is has three loading white dots in the place of 'join' on the button and does nothing.

I can confirm that it was working up until about three days ago. Have tried everything including reinstallations of all applications, linking/re-linking, using Microsoft Store / Desktop App, even a complete reinstall of windows to no avail. It's a vital feature to me and would love to have it resolved soon!
