Login issues on iOS

We're getting reports from iOS users that are unable to login via the mobile app with the error message "You're offline. Check your connection and try again".

Thanks for your patience while we looked into this issue.

 

We’re happy to say that this should now be fixed for everyone, just make sure that your app is updated to the latest version. You should also be able to use your VPNs as usual.

This is just unbelievable. I just expect that this is a music app that should work! Spotify is a big company with plenty of resources. This bug shouldn’t have happened in the first place, and since it did, it should’ve been fixed pronto! Very disappointed, frustrated, and just, idk. If this happens again in the future, I will talk to my parents about switching to Apple Music. Unacceptable

I have been trying for over an hour to add Spotify app to my daughter's phone and log in to her account. I added her to our family account and we cannot log in to her account. I keep getting the same error message over and over again that she is "offline and to try again" but can download emails, send text messages etc. We have deleted and reinstalled the app multiple times. We have reset her password. We have turned the phone off and on again. We have tried the Support Chat and was told to post here. I'm getting pretty annoyed.

I have the same issue, been trying to sign in for 4 days now. Deleted and installed the app multiple times, did everything the customer service told me to. 

Getting really annoyed with this issue cause I’m paying for a service I’m not receiving and thinking about switching to Apple Music instead.

My Question or Issue

I changed my password and logged out of all devices. Now suddenly I can no longer log in via the Spotify app on my phone. it indicates that I am offline and should check my internet connection, but my connection is fine, I have deleted and redownloaded the app but also without success. I can log in on the desktop and via the laptop, but not via the app. What can I do?

So, after seeing Sabri_bear's comments about the VPN, I fully turned off mine ( I use Avast) including the 'Connect on demand' button within the iPhone settlings, and hey presto it connected 👍.  It continues to work having turned the VPN back on but I haven't bothered to try and log out again etc. as there didn't seem much point.  

 

Clearly there is a conflict between VPNs and latest version of Spotify, which needs to be sorted out.

Estou tentando fazer o login no pelo iOS iphone 14 no aplicativo móvel e sempre aparece a mensagem de erro "Você está offline. Verifique sua conexão e tente novamente" mesmo com a conexão ok. Tentei redefinir o login pelo email, mas há erro também, a msg que aparece  é de que o link foi expirado.

My Question or Issue

im trying to log Into my account and it keeps saying I’m offline, I have tried different WiFi networks, I’ve changed my password multiple times, I’ve used my username instead of email, I have uninstalled and installed and nothing, I’ve offloaded the app and I have resetted my phone and nothing works please help

I’ve been having trouble signing into the Spotify app due to being offline.  My internet connection is fine and am able to login to Spotify on the web browser.  I’ve tried deleting the app and reinstalling it.  Ive powered off my phone and turned it on.  I’ve reset my modem/router and still cannot login.

Completely unacceptable.

App doesnt work on iphone!!! Can't login.

Then support said: 'oh use the webplayer'. Can login to that. BUT NOT PLAY ANYTHING!!! (Hit play. Endless rotating white circle ...)

 

I presume spotify is planning to refund every ios premium user for every day this MOST BASIC functionality doesn't work?!
