Majority of Streetlight Manifesto's music gone

All of Streetlight Manifesto's music, except one album, was removed from Spotify. Catch 22 still has them but since it's not a 100% the same music I would like to know what happened to cause about 80 songs to be removed from Streetlight Manifesto's page.

Hey all! Thanks for posting in the Spotify Community!

Spotify would love to have every song available everywhere. However, things can be a bit complicated due to licensing issues. Spotify adds about thousands of albums everyday, so it might reappear soon. In the meanwhile, you can reach out to the artist why their music isn't available on Spotify. Let me know if there's anything else.

Have a great day! 🙂

It might have something to do with Victory Records ongoing battle with Spotify from what I can gather. Sucks because theyre one of my favorite bands and Spotify is my main music source. VICTORY RECORDS STOP BEING MONEY HUNGRY BUTTHOLES!!!!!

This has happened a lot recently. Streetlight's music is constantly on and off Spotify. It'll be back soon enough.

I rediscovered this band a few days ago and then boom, they get snatched away.....Im annoyed by this.

Probably a problem with Victory Records since they removed all of their music on Apple Music too.. really sad when all you want is to listen to their music

"In the meanwhile, you can reach out to the artist why their music isn't available on Spotify." I'm pretty sure this is a Victory Records issue and not a Streetlight Manifesto issue. #victorysucks

Considering Victory Records suit on them was settled the same day I noticed all the songs got taken down; April 19, I'm sure it's safe to say Victory has their hand in this. You can check the offical Streetlight Manifesto website to confirm the suit was settled, they made a post about it going into more detail on there.

It's not actually Victory this time. Now that Streetlight own's their music again they just have to renegotiate terms with Spotify. Once they do so they'll be back on.

JMMFIRE, that's reassuring; thank you for that.

I had an interesting situation yesterday.  I have "Walking Away" by Streetlight Manifesto on a playlist of mine.  When it came up, instead of skipping to the next song as I would expect, Spotify actually started playing the Catch 22 version.  The artist, ablum, and song info was still Streetlight, but the album art was Catch 22, and the audio was definitely Catch 22.

So that's weird.

Same thing.  I just wish Spotify had been honest and told me "We're not carrying SM now" -- because I just spent 20 minutes wrestling with my Spotify from two different devices trying to access it.  Would have made my life easier if they had just been honest and straightforward.  That kind of thing makes me trust them less.  Not a good customer experience.
