[Mobile] Canvas feature disappeared

My Question or Issue

The canvas disappeared and I want to activate them, try another account and if this is working, but in my account it does not appear, I already uninstalled the application and erased the data and even reset my device And the canvas does not work, all the solutions in other forums does not work, i need a real solution, and quickly

Thanks for your patience while we looked into this issue.

 

We’re happy to say that this should now be fixed - just make sure your app is updated to the latest version. If you're not seeing Canvas in Settings, perform a clean reinstall of the app on your phone.

 

In order to enable Canvas:

- Make sure Data Saver is OFF
- Under Playback, Canvas should be ON

 

Note: Not all songs have a Canvas, and the feature is gradually being rolled out, so it's not available in all markets yet. We'll post an update here when we have any new info to share on this.

iOS premium user here and my option to toggle on canvas in my settings has disappeared. Logging out and back in, updating the app, deleting and reinstalling all have not worked. This has been an issue for multiple years and Spotify hasn’t given any good solutions as to why select accounts don’t have this playback option.

My canvas option is fully gone and the option to turn it off or on is nowhere. I have had this on multiple devices and i dont know how to solve this issue

I don't want to create a new account to get this feature. When will developers fix old accounts?

Thanks for reaching out about this and welcome to the Community.

 

First up, we suggest that you make sure Data Saver is OFF in the app settings. 

 

If so, we recommend restarting your device and then logging out from your account and logging back in twice in a row. We know it sounds odd, but this will trigger a sync between your phone and account. 
 

Let us know how it goes. 

i can not open canvas i used to have canvas but i closed it once and i can not open it again i do not even have canvas option

I did everything as mentioned but it did not solve my issue. Any other ideas?

Thanks for the post.

 

Make sure the Data Saver option is turned off on your phone, as this will automatically disable the Canvas feature. If you still cannot see the Canvas button after disabling the Data-Saver  we recommend you perform a clean reinstall of the app following the steps here.

 

We'd also recommend you try logging in on your phone with a friends's account and see if the Canvas option becomes available on their account. If you see the canvas setting available when using another account, we'd suggest you follow the steps in this Spotify Answer next. You'll find useful tips on how to create a new Spotify account without losing the music collection you created in your original account.  

 

Lastly, we'd recommend taking a look at this page for more info and subscribing for updates in case you still don't see the Canvas feature on a different account on your device.

Hey folks, we made some changes backstage and the Canvas feature should now be working again.

In case it isn't - delete your cached data and restart the app!

Still doesnt show up for me, i cleared my cashed data, restarted the app, restarted my phone, nothing
