My Question or Issue

I am a premium user and I have been for a long time. Recently i've been having some issues with downloading music/podcasts to listen to offline.It isn't letting me.  At first it was saying that this was because I had a small amount of memory left on my phone so I freed up a lot of space and that didn't seem to make a difference (more on this later).

After unistalling and reinstalling, when I now go to download something I get the message 'You discovered a Premium feature! Get Spotify Premium now'. When I click on this it just takes me back to my home page. Spotify premium is working fine for me besides this, and is working fine on my pc and ps4. Help would be greatly appreciated as my work is incredibly boring without something to listen to.

Also despite clearing the cache through spotify there is still 7.5 Gb of spotify stuff on my sd card which I don't know how to remove. I've tried deleting the folder through the file browser ni my phone but this doesn't work.

@OliverK96I found out how to solve that problem. Don't put spotify nor put downloaded music on your sd card. It works on mine.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S8 and I had the same problem this morning all of a sudden. After trying @Dysfunctionall 's solution it got resolved! This is a working solution! But it's still a weird notification to recieve since I've been a Premium member for years now.

I cannot download anything, without the "You discovered a premium feature" pop up displaying.  Clicking "Get Premium" only takes me back to the home screen after a brief flicker of the Premium page. I have tried changing storage to internal, but it does not work.  I have tried re-installing the app several times.  I thought the new update would help, but it did not.  

Downloads work fine on PC.

Problem/Issue:

I am part of a premium family plan and all my downloaded songs have been removed and I can't redownload any songs and can't play song offline. However, all other features work.

Please help, I am family plan member, I can see that all my downloaded playlists diasppeared. Waiting for donwload. Same issue as author of topic, I click download and Get premium message appears. Have this been solved?

My problem turned out to be memory card related. I was starting to have some problems with other apps and saving pictures to SD. I installed a new microSD card and problem solved.

It would have been helpful had the error code indicated a problem with the SD.
