Music keep skipping

This issue never happened to me before, but now some of my musics can’t be played because spotify keeps skipping it ( the musics that he skips are the one that i originally downloaded on my cellphone and then i imported to spotify, and they used to work perfect in spotify last month)

PS: i have already reinstalled twice and it didn’t worked

Thanks for letting us know about this. Just to confirm, is this happening with your local files only? If so, make sure you're follow the steps in here to add the track to Spotify. If it continues to happen, let us know what device, operating system and Spotify version you're using. We'll see what to suggest.

Hello @FabianS_Bogota, it’s happening only with the local files, I followed the steps and nothing ( the local files used to work just fine in the past).

My current version of spotify is 8.4.35.213 and im using an iPhone 7 ( current version of the software is IOS 11.2.2, the last one)

Hey @Giobrana!

 

Let's try reinstalling Spotify on both devices before trying to sync your local files again. Also, do you have a different mobile phone you could use to test it out?

Already tried to reinstall and tried again now, only one device have spotify installed and i don’t have another

In this case, can you remove all your offline devices here and try to download music again? Also, make sure you're following these requirements

Hey again, i did what Mara told me to do but nothing changed, just to remind: the musics that can’t be played are the ones that i originally downloaded on the internet and then i moved those musics to spotify, but they worked fine in the past ( already on spotify) and then from one day to another they started to skip

Just to confirm, are you able to play the songs (local files) you mention from your desktop app? If so, add those songs in a new playlist. Then, try to download one more time that new playlist from your mobile device using the same WiFi network you're using with the desktop app.

 

If the problem persists after that, send us 2 screenshots where we can see the local files you're trying to sync inside the new playlist. Send us one screenshot from your mobile device and another one from your desktop app.

 

We'll be waiting for your response.
