No internet connection available connection on Galaxy Note 5

I am getting the "No internet connection available" message on my Galaxy Note 5 even though I have a strong connection and can use phone for other applications and seraches.

I have done the most recent phone updateD ON 4/18/17 and the message still appears.  I am using Android 7.0 OS (Nougat) with software version N920VVRU3CQB9 and my provider is Verizon.
