No play button in podcasts on Android

 Hey, after latest update no play button for podcast episodes only download. Cant play episodes. Thank you for your help.

***Update***

Finally! I found a fix. 

On my S7 Android Oreo, on the phone's display language setting, I found out there is a way to add a secondary language that kicks in when an app doesn't support your phone's main display language. 

I added English as my secondary and it fixed the missing play button. 

This is still a workaround and Spotify needs to fix its broken app.

Hey Tom, 

Have you tried going into your settings and clearing the cache for Spotify? 

Also, you could try clearing Spotify from your recent apps. Let me know if either of these work for you!

I have the same problem. No play button, can't listen to podcasts.

 Hi! The feature of playing podcasts on my Spotify is missing as of today. I no longer can simply press play, and the only option is to download the podcast. Even when I do download the podcast, it doesn't enable me to play the podcast. What can I do?

Can we get some help her, Spotify? I'm a premium user, but will cancel subscription as I cannot access my favorite content, podcasts. 

I'm on LG G5, erased and then reinstalled. Doesn't work.

I too have this problem ongoing for a couple weeks already.

What is going on Spotify? Are you guys going to fix it or what?

I can't help but thinking of cancelling my subscription as podcasts play such a great role for me, and this malfunction is going on for way too much time. Not cool.
