On Repeat not updating

We've received reports that the On Repeat playlist is not updating for about a week and there's one report about Repeat Rewind.

Thanks for your patience while we looked into this issue.

 

We’re happy to say that this should now be fixed for everyone, just make sure that your app is updated to the latest version and you may need to log out > log back in if you still don't see that the playlists have been updated.

 

If you're still having any other troubles, make sure to post a new thread in the relevant help board here.

Maybe it's this, or maybe it's a glitch in the system (on repeat is pretty prone to not updating sometimes). Either way, it's the weekend, so we should have a reply from a Spotify employee soon-ish.

It hasn't updated for me in a week now. It usually does it every 3 days (the longest before was 5 days). I have some of my friends' On Repeats saved as well, and it hasn't updated for them either.

Same issue here! Usually updates every third day, but it has been a week now, and my listening activity has been like it always is.

Thanks for posting this thread in the Community and for reporting that the playlist is not updating for you.

 

We've forwarded the info on to the relevant team so they can take a further look and in the meantime, it'd be very helpful if you could share the following details if you've not already done so:

  • Device(s) this is happening on, as well as the make, model, OS-version.
  • Spotify app version.
  • Does the same behavior persist in the Web Player?
  • Troubleshooting steps that you've tried so far.

Appreciate the cooperation and keep us posted.

iphone 15, -ios 18.3. But the problem is on all devices! And all of my friends deviced. Theory: nor device related. The same problem in web player.
Version of Spotify: 9.0.18.548. 
 Tried everything: reinstalling, logging in and out, switching devices, emptying cache, listening often and to new music, etc.

I have the same problem all the other poeple on this thread.

My devices / software:
 - Phone: Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S 
 - Phone: Samsun Galaxy S21 FE
 - PC: Spotify for Windows (64 bit), 1.2.57.463.g4f748c64
 - WebPlayer in Chrome

Normally ut would only take 4 days for my On Repeat playlist made by spotify to update. But it has roughly been more than a week and the playlist hasn't got a single change or anything

My ON REPEAT playlist shows 6 days ago as well...

huh? i guess everyone has the same issue. mine hasn't been updated since a week ago. /sigh i wanna know which track that ive played on loop
