Only playIng music in app

There are times when my music only plays when my phone is unlocked and the app is open on the screen. When I leave the app or lock my phone the music cuts and doesn’t work until I open the app again. Most of the time it does play music when doing other things but it seems to start not playing music when I open Snapchat. I’ve only notice that it happens after I open Snapchat. I have restarted my phone, closed both apps and restarted it. It has be happening fairly recently (within the last couple days) and it’s very inconvenient.

Could you send us your device's make and model, OS, and Spotify version numbers? Also, do you have a different device you could use to see if the same thing happens?
