PSN Playstation funded premium account changing to free

My Question or Issue

For years I have had a premium account paid for through the PlayStation network discount.  Lately my account shows up as FREE under multiple devices: PC,mobile,home stero etc.  I can clearly see a payment was made just last week off my credit card as usual through sony/psn yet the account is still showing as FREE.  not skipping songs and having ads is AWFUL!  Anyone else having issues with playstation funded accounts?

Yeah I pay for spotify through my PS4 and it is currently saying I have a premium subscription while also charging me, but it does not reflect that on my account.

Update from me:

 

I ended up billing this through Spotify directly and canceling subscription through Playstation. I've been in touch with support, at spotify, and they supplied 30 days of Subscription time to counterbalance the 30 days I lost previously from waiting for a resolution from Spotify and Playstation. I did contact both of them and Playstation basically said tough wait it out and Spotify later went back and granted me the 30 days to make up for lost time after subbing through them.

 

From my  perspective; it seems like Spotify is willing to work with us so we might all be better off just billing our accounts through them. Sony doesn't seem to want to acknowledge or present a solution for those impacted and we are being told to "wait". Keep in mind everyday you wait you're basically losing money since this is a subscription based service. I didn't find that as an acceptable answer from Sony so I asked Spotify what they could do after billing through them and they helped me. 

 

Anyways, TLDR version: Bill through Spotify, they seem to understand customer support. Sony is just wasting our time and doing nothing for those losing time on their subscriptions. 

I would advise Spotify as a partner of Sony to provide some support coaching to their customer support at Sony.

I did ask both Sonys live support and their Twitter Ask Playstation account and both said the same thing/did nothing.

I too am canceling my PSN service and going straight through Spotify. I am waiting to see what compensation I can get for 3 weeks of lost service so lets hope they pull through!

After much dialog with sony I think I am getting this months subscription refunded.  Lets see if spotify has an incentive to switch over to spotify direct subscription

Hi folks, I'm having this same issue with my account. Everything is fine with my PS Plus subscription, yet my Spotify account turned into free account in this morning. I've been using Spotify premium for years and don't recall doing anything different yesterday that could cause this. By the way, I'm from Brazil.
